Farm Tour at Stoneboat

The Pacific NW CSA Coalition is here to do many things! We process SNAP and DUFB payments for our CSA farmers, and we work to build community amongst our CSA farmers by bringing them together through events like these.

It's rare that farmers can take the time to leave the farm and get together, but each time we make the space to come together, we all feel the benefit of connecting, learning from each other, and sharing a meal together. Whether you're a PNW CSA member or not, all farmers and their families are welcome to join us for this educational and recreational farm tour! Come on out!

Here's a little bit about the incredible work being done at Stoneboat Farm.

Stoneboat Farm is a sustainable vegetable and turkey farm. Brothers Aaron and Jesse Nichols work with an awesome crew of humans, a few dogs, and sometimes some horses to grow the very best veggies we can. Our model of farming is unique and we invite you to learn more about our projects, which include:

• Expand our sustainable farm while continuing to produce staples and unique vegetables for restaurants, CSA members and farmers’ markets
• Rotate turkeys on our land to build fertility and raise happy birds
• Grow diverse cover crops and pollinator habitat to enrich our soil and ecosystem
• Guarding our vegetables and turkeys from predation with Rucola and Enoki, our Great Pyrenees puppies
• Diversify into fruit and orchard growing over the next few years!
