Field Day on the Farm -- Tomatoes!

Farmers  Rachel and Alex run a small CSA farm on the Sandy River that provides  Portlanders with organic heirloom  vegetables.   Believing deeply in  soil regeneration, they strive to bring organic, nutrient-dense food  accessible to everyone in the community.

And, they have a large flock of fine-looking, friendly chickens.

Join  us on the farm for a hands-on tomato party.   Piper Davis will teach us  how to safely preserve those summer beauties, and you’ll take home what  you produce.  You’ll also learn about the special food grown at  LoveBug, and how small farms like LoveBug are an important part of a  sustainable food system.
