Future Farm & Flowers
Future Farm is nestled on a southern slope in the wooded hills, west of St. Helens, Oregon.
We are a hand-scale, women-run food and flower farm, always practicing with the future in mind. We use sustainable methods and low mechanization to protect and enhance the fertility in the soil, also boosting plant health and nutritional value.
GMO-Free, Sustainable Practices
Our vegetable CSA shares will include 6-10 items per week for 22 weeks. An additional fall share is available for 5 weeks.
We offer spring and summer flowers shares, an organic coffee add-on from our good friends at Top Cup Roasters in Portland and a mushroom share add-on from our neighbors, Cloudcap Mushrooms.
In choosing our seeds, we are drawn to varieties that are organic, open pollinated, rare and wild.
A wide variety of lettuces and hearty greens will be a running theme. We are always experimenting with new varieties of vegetables and flowers and take great joy in including those you may not see in the grocery store.
We come from previous careers in the restaurant world and love sharing new ideas about how to cook with your produce. We’ll share this info in a weekly emailed newsletter.
The produce you will enjoy in your weekly box is harvested within 24 hours of delivery at peak nutrition and flavor.
CSA harvest begins mid-May and runs to mid- October. Exact dates will be announced as soon as the weather lets us know. CSA pick-up locations and times are listed on our website.
