We’re a gal (Kait Crowley) and a guy (Pat Mayfield) raising pastured pork and poultry near Sweet Home, Oregon. Established in Autumn of 2018, we’re just getting started renovating our pasture from neglected hayfield to nutrient-dense forage for our livestock. Harnessing pig power, we’re reseeding with a diverse perennial mix and annual cover crops. It’s our goal to bring you the tastiest, most ethical meat we can that’s good for people, critters, and the land we all share. We are proud to be certified Animal Welfare Approved and Non-GMO, and a member of the Oregon Pasture Network.
Our animals rotate seasonally through our Oregon Tilth Certified Organic pasture and heritage oak stand. They also receive non-GMO feed from a local mill and organic cull crops from our open-pollinated seed company neighbors. We've taken care to select hearty breeds that thrive in our region and produce full-flavored meat you'll be proud to serve at your table.
We offer a Chicken CSA Share (2 of our tasty pastured birds/month) and a Combo CSA Share (a rotating selection of 10 lbs of pastured pork, poultry and lamb/month).
We use a 'Pay-What-You-Can' community pricing scale. You pay the amount that fits your budget. If you've got the need, select a discounted share. If you've got the means, consider pitching in a little extra to help others afford a share by choosing the sponsor tier. Discount shares become available as we have sponsors. 3% of all our sales is collected for a Real Tax, which is given to local BIPOC-led groups that are actively engaged in the struggle for human dignity and flourishing.
