About Us:

At SunCatcher Farms we have a traditional CSA, CSAC (Community Supported Agriculture for Charity), or a CSA/CSAC split option.

CSA: Community Supported Agriculture

This is how it works:
At SunCatcher Farms we call our CSA boxes Sun Boxes! A Sun Box is a weekly, or every other week share of vegetables from the farm. Our 2022 season is from May – October, 26 weeks.

Your Sun Box will include whatever is growing at the farm that week, expect a combination of 5-10 items of in season vegetables!

Why should you become a CSA Member?
- You will get the freshest produce with the highest flavor and nutritional value.
- You will become exposed to new types and varieties of vegetables.
- You are supporting a local business and overall supporting the local economy.
- You will get to see where your food comes from!
- You are choosing a more sustainable way of getting your vegetables by cutting out packaging and transportation.
-It’s FUN! You will be apart of this awesome community who truly cares about where their food comes from and how its grow.

CSA & CSAC
At SunCatcher Farms we have two ways to get local produce to you & your family as well other families in the community. Check out our CSAC and CSA Option below.

CSAC: Community Supported Agriculture for Charity.
The goal of CSAC is to provide fresh food to everyone. We will be partnering with Neighborhood House Food Pantry in Multnomah Village, Portland and the community to bring the same quality of vegetables to everyone in the community.

This is how it works:
CSAC Memberships work the same as CSA Memberships except the food will be going to Neighborhood House Food Pantry. It’s like a summer food drive but at a local farm. How cool is that?

- I will deliver the box of farm vegetables to the Neighborhood House Food Pantry weekly or every-other week- depending on the option you choose.
- You will be given a tax form for your donation to the Neighborhood House Food Pantry.

You will be supporting the families in your local community:
The Neighborhood House Food Pantry is the largest food pantry program on Portland’s west side, serving over 1,400 individuals each month to meet this most basic of needs. When we provide local nutritious food, we help support other necessities in life, such as finding gainful employment to pay the rent or improving careers for long-term advancement.

It’s the Same Structure as a CSA:
Full Share: Weekly Sun Box, one time payment of $700

Half Share: Bi-Weekly Sun Box, one time payment of $390

CSA/CSAC Split:

This option is the cost of a full share ($700). You will get a box for your family every other week and The Neighborhood House Food Pantry will get a box every other week. Some love for you and your family some love to those who may need some extra love.
