About the event
Ready to roll up your sleeves and get canning? Join us for an afternoon of hands-on learning, farm-fresh fun, and a little tomato magic. Whether you’re brand-new to preserving or looking to brush up on your skills, this workshop will give you the confidence to fill your pantry with jars of summer sunshine.

What to Expect
Learn from the experts: OSU Master Food Preservers will walk you through the ins and outs of water bath canning, covering safety, acidity, and tips you can use for tomatoes and other veggies.
Take home your bounty: Each participant will leave with jars of the tomatoes they’ve canned themselves.
Farm tour: Wander the beautiful grounds of La Finquita del Buho and see where the harvest begins.
Light refreshments: Enjoy seasonal snacks and connect with fellow local food lovers.

Sliding scale: $75 / $45 / $25
