About Us:

Side Yard Farm host an average of 10,000+ visitors each season at the farm for workshops, farm events, dinners & brunches, grief groups, farm tours, and more. Side Yard feeds the community through CSA boxes, restaurants, donations, catering, and farm events. We are committed to continuing our work in building and fostering community resilience by providing a safe, inclusive space for all identities.

Our CSA includes 24 weeks of organically grown urban produce starting in May and ending in October. Weekly boxes include 7-12 different items depending on the time of year: leafy greens, root veg, summer crops, fruit, specialty crops and herbs. We offer full & half shares with an easy pick up location in Ne Portland. Choosing to become a Side Yard Farm CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) member also means you are giving back to your community. Every season, our little farm is able to give back to our favorite organizations in town with your support. Our food donation program has been going strong for the last decade. We grow plant starts and extra produce for nonprofits like Equitable Giving Circle , NAYA, Rahab’s Sisters and neighbors in need. You have a choice in purchasing a regular CSA share OR pay a bit extra to help us in supporting our community members. That's about $40 per week for fresh produce grown in the city, PLUS contributing to folx in need.
