About the Event

Albacore tuna is caught off the coast of Oregon by the traditional hook and line method.  Each fish is handled individually, maximizing its freshness, and minimizing the amount of by-catch.

During this hands-on workshop, we will learn about the importance of the community supported fishery (CSF) model, and why it is beneficial to our region.  Sustainable food system expert Piper Davis will help you will hone your canning skills using Oregon albacore supplied by local CSF Tre-Fin Dayboat Seafood.  Each guest will take home $60 worth of the best quality albacore available in Portland.

Continue the conversation during a delightful catered lunch and glass of wine.

Registration for this event will be extremely limited so we can keep everyone safe.
